In August 2023, Glasgow, Scotland will be hosting the first ever-combined UCI Cycling World Championships, bringing together 13 UCI World Championships. The 10-day event will be a celebration of cycling in all its forms and will underpin a wider 7-year strategy around cycling development in Scotland.
The event will no doubt enjoy a unique coverage as the TV pictures will be relayed worldwide and all the cycling communities will be reunited for the occasion.
2023 CWC Ltd, the entity appointed by the Scottish Ministers and the UCI to promote, manage, organise and host the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships on their behalf are looking to appoint a single and exclusive agency responsible for building and valuing the marketing inventory of the event, developing and implementing a go-to-market plan and contracting with partners based on the set revenue targets.
The following calendar has been set for the bidders:
13th July 2020 - Notice posted on OJEU website
22nd July 2020 - Q&A video conference with agencies (questions in advance)
31st July 2020 (5pm) - Last date for submission of clarification questions
11th August 2020 (noon) - Submission Deadline
w/c 24th August 2020 - Clarification meetings with agencies (see section 3.13) - w/c 17 August
October 2020 - Agency contracted and appointed
