The 2016 UCI Trials World Championships concluded on Saturday, in Val di Sole, Italy, with titles awarded in the 26" categories for Junior and Elite Men. France took their second title of the Championships, while Great Britain won their first ever Elite title in the discipline.
The 2016 UCI Trials World Championships opened on Tuesday with the national team competition. The Championships are being held in Vermiglio, located in Trentino, in the northeastern region of Italy. France was successful in defending their title, holding off a strong challenge from Spain, with Germany taking bronze.

Val di Sole – the Sole Valley – is located in Trentino, the north-eastern region of Italy, and has a long history of playing host to mountain bike events, including the 2008 Trials World Championships.
