Mont-Sainte-Anne is an internationally renowned Canadian ski resort and year round destination located 40 km from the UNESCO World Heritage City of Quebec, and 50 minutes from an international airport.
 
Mont-Sainte-Anne is the only resort that has appeared annually on the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup or World Championships calendar since the beginnings of the sport in 1991. In 2009, Mont-Sainte-Anne will have welcomed 18 Mountain Bike World Cup rounds and 1 World Championships (1998). Moreover, in 2010 the World Championships return to Mont-Sainte-Anne for the second time. The Organizing Committee (OC) is well established, solid and has a great reputation amongst riders, specialized journalists and teams alike.
 
Since 2003, the OC has integrated the Mountain Bike World Cup intobike festival, held over three weekend, called VELIRIUM. With new events and disciplines appearing each year, VELIRIUM has rapidly gained the reputation as a “not to be missed” festival. More than 2500 athletes register and close to 50 000 spectators come to appreciate the activities.
 
Now “On the road to 2010…”, the OC is more than eager to see the Nissan UCI Mountain Bike World Cup coming back in 2009. Welcome to Quebec and Mont-Sainte-Anne!
