More participants, more medals and a greater percentage of women: these will be the result of the new qualification criteria for the cycling events at the 2012 London Paralympics.

Ten new world records out of a possible 24 were established during the three competition days of the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships held in Manchester, Great Britain.

The British team reaffirmed its strength by winning 5 of the 11 gold medals at stake and smashing three world records during the second day of the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships.
