At the end of the 2007 UCI ProTour and Continental Circuits season (UCI Africa Tour, UCI America Tour, UCI Asia Tour, UCI Europe Tour and UCI Oceania Tour), the UCI has drawn up a list of National Olympic Committees (NOCs) qualified for the Men’s Elite Road races at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, as well as the number of places granted to each one: Qualifications table
The distribution of places has been done based on ProTour and Continental Circuits rankings, and in accordance with the rules in force.
This distribution will evolve based on confirmations from NOCs. The final re-awarding of places will be made between April and July 2008.
The awarding of places for Women’s Road cycling events will be made on 31 May 2008 in accordance with the rules.
